An A-MAZIN’ Costa Rican Coffee Tour Experience!

Laberinto Grano de Oro is a coffee and nature tour located near Monteverde in the province of Guanacaste, Costa Rica. The self-guided tour of the Laberinto Grano de Oro offers the opportunity to explore and learn about coffee in a unique setting.

At the Santa Marta Family Farm, you will find our maze of coffee bushes which has various checkpoints where information is provided via videos and banners. With this information visitors learn about the plants that surround them and their fabulous fruits. Visitors will learn about culture, legends, as well as the different types and varieties of coffee.

At the end of the tour through the maze, all visitors are cordially invited to our on-site coffee shop. Here, visitors can enjoy a moment of tranquility and relaxation with a delicious cup of coffee produced on the farm itself. Our coffee shop also offers pastries, ice cream, and smoothies, all with excellent service and quality.

What are your hours of operation?

Our coffee shop and A-MAZE-IN’ tours are available 6 days a week from 9am – 5pm. We are closed Tuesday of each week.

Is there easy access by car?

Yes, although the roads are not perfect, you can get there by car with no problems. A 4×4 vehicle is not required.

Can we bring a pet?

Yes, we have green areas that are safe and there is no problem with your pet as long as it is not aggressive and you bring it with its proper collar and leash.

Is there Internet on the farm?

Yes, we have a 200+Mb high-speed WIFI network available to all visitors.

Are there bathrooms?

Yes, of course. Our facilities are equipped to serve groups, so it has large and clean bathrooms.

What type of shoes should I wear?

The total route is approximately 1km and the surface is very flat. However, we are on a farm so we recommend closed tennis shoes.

Are there hotels nearby?
